denso are excellent plugs, but i wouldnt pay for a set to go into a focus, just a standard decent make will suffice

Just don't use BOSCH, can be a nightmare with leakage in the zetec lumps.
Iridiums will make it a bit smoother, especially around idle and when cold I found, but I also use a ACCEL 140018 ignition coil, defo notice a difference over std ford affair, and very similar money too.

All I can tell you is after fitting BOSCH plugs bought from Hellfrauds that two out of the 4 were leaking and missing terribly due to this, within 100 miles, they were totally streaked all around the porcelain, upon enquiring with others found it was not an isolated case, I put NGK in and no problem, though I'm sure ford would have been ok too.
I had fitted them to some other zetecs but these took longer to play up, but the odd one did so.

I agree whit tabetha, have the same promlems whit Bosch plugs her. Many of Motorcraft plugs are made by NGK

I've always used Ford's plugs for standard, tuned N/A, and turbo 2.0l Zetec engines. Also no problems at all with their standard leads and coil packs (even with Megasquirt).

Actually not strictly true, I oilled up a hard (FRS) plug after dropping too much oil into a cylinder after a leaky cam cover.
