Basically brought a used set of RS2000 Recaros on the cheap for my Mk5
Passenger sides fine but the drivers ones a bit of a state, at some point in its life it had a subframe welded to the seat frame, this subframe welded into the RS2K they came from, they were not removed in the most gentle of manners and have wrecked the seat frame so i cannot bolt on my subframe, rather than repair the seat frame (looks like it was done at somepoint too) i was wondering how plausable it is to change the seat frame from say another Mk 5 3 door seat? do they all use the same basic frame with diff cushions on or does the recaro have a different frame?
