hi i have just taken the gearbox out of my frst to replace some seals is there an easy way to tell if it has a lsd fitted

 

you can do it when the gearbox is on the car!

jack the front end up and spin the wheels. if they both spin the same way then its got an LSD, if the other wheel spins the opposite way its a normal one...i think lol

 

If you see through the diff you have a standard one, id you can see a plate with a circular hole then you have an LSD

 

in that case i have a lsd
as i can see a plate with a hole thanks guys
