Default cosworth tps.......

i read i thread a little while ago about this but cant find it for love or money lol.....

i have tryed to fit a 4x4 tps to my 2wd saph (L6), i switched the 2 outer wires over and when i started it, it ran like a dog.... so i swapped the outer wires back to how it was, it now seems to run ok....

so basically the question is do you only have to switch the outer wires over if your converting it to L8 ecu?

If i remember correctly with the 4wd TPS when using a Level 8 or P8 ECU you will need to swap round the outer 2 wires on the TPS Plug.

yep thats what im thinking.... just everyone has told me if you fit a 4x4tps you have to swap the wire regardless of it being l6 or not....

Why do you use the 4x4 tps?
I agree with Jokerdisco, only need to swap the wires if you are going to a L8 or P8 ecu.

Don't know about manufacturing them anymore but there is always new ones popping up on ebay and I'm sure they are genuine marrelli ones!

Just use another make/type with same resistance, it's a standard 8mm "D" shaft connection.
