Default dyno rolling road question

i might be getting my car (mondeo zetec turbo) rolling roaded on friday

at present its got some very heavy 19" wheels on, should i swap the wheels over to my 18" lightweight dymags for the day or wont it make much difference?

i'm guessing the lighter smaller wheels will give less of a transmission loss and help the engine revs spin up quicker? or is the difference going to be neglible?

as long as the flywheel power isnt effected i'm not too bothered.

i would run with the 18" s and if they are lighter would cause less drag on the rollers than the 19"s

ps make sure you check all fluids, hoses, tyres got plenty of tread and @ correct tyre pressures !!!!
before going on the rollers dont want anything going bang!!!

i'm a bit torn between devil & deep blue sea. someone else has advised me the heavier bigger 19's will get more grip on the rollers.

last time i had it dyno'd it seemed to get grip OK with 18" bk166's, but now its more powerful i'm not so sure.

i remember watching a dyno of a 300bhp rwd saff with comps, a few of us had to sit in the boot to help get all the power down because it was slipping

Are you going for a tune, or just to get the numbers as high as possible ?
You can do this by putting more air pressure in the tyres if you want.
