Rs turbo Gearbox oil seal
The gearbox oil seal is leaking on my mates escort rs turbo where the selector goes into the back of the gearbox. Its def not the drive shaft oil seals and these where changed.
Is the seal around the selector a job with the box in or do you have to strip the gearbox for this seal?

no just mark selector joint to shaft undo clamp slide it of remove rubber boot prise seal out tap new one in with a deep socket and refit lining up marks
