Got a wee smokey problem with my sapp cosworth stage 3. iv just re built the FULL engine due to a fueling problem last year,holey pistons!!! however,iv dun 300 mile since rebuild but when im sitting idling 4 few minits,wen i pull away it puts out a bit of reek,but perfect wen driving! not mega bad but its there.thot it cld b a down to fueling as iv not had it set up properly yet (was waiting till ran in 1st,driving with no boost) but smoke lookes kinda blue,hard 2 tell tho. ripin ma nittin anyway,so any input wld b MUCH appreciated.thanx Richie..

 

If you continue toi run a new engine in so easy with no boost, it WILL smoke forever, give it some stick, don't be afraid, go easy just for first 100 or so, but mine are all at max rpm in short bursts by 500 miles.
If run in too easy they bores will glaze over, stopping the rings from bedding in correctly.
Also I hope you are using MINERAL oil, and not fully synthetic, if not change it now, as won't run in correctly/well on fully synth.

cool thanx. i was runin it on miniral oil but thot id give it an oil change 2nite,and iv put 10 40 semi back in it.u think itl b ok? il turn the boost down,and start givn it a wee bit
