Default Cossie Spluttering?

just took my cossie out today for the first time this year and she is spluttering just before she hits full revs.

she is low on fuel and fuel is old.

i got a new msd chip in her before she was put in for winter and was doing the same with good fuel but was low. would the new chip do this when low on fuel or simple answer just put more fuel in a try it??

just wanted an option before i put more fuel in. oh and it doesnt do it in 1st iirc! just 2nd 3rd never tried 4th or 5th

it sounds like low on fuel or bad fuel and plugs cant run it but im prob wrong

thanks matty

How old is the fuel filter ?
Bacteria love the conditions that exist with rarely used cars, I would at the very least change the fuel filter first, mine is done every year.

Stick a gallon in it, and see what happens.

Then go for the other simple things like rotor arm, dizzy cap, etc.

Condensation in the MAP sensor pipes also take them off give them a blow out. change fuel filters stick some fresh fuel in and poss plugs.
