Default tyre

got a 4x4 saff with very odd tyre size the fronts are215 50 x16which are worn and the rears are225x50 16 as i needs to replace the two front
should i replace them with 225x50 16 same as the rear
or replacethe rears to 215 as well as the fronts does that make sense

I think 225's on the front would cause the tyre to rub on
the inner arch on full lock,I'd personally change the rears to
215's.

I would ALWAYS mount the same tyres on the front and at the rear on a 4x4. best choice would be the 215's i guess, as the original tyres on a saff are 205/50/15

I've got the mondeo si cossie look a likes on my saff with 205, 45 x 16 Toyo proxies, I've had no problems with them. I got told a 205, 50 x 16 profile would give me agro.

Hope this helps
