Any ideas welcome i have a 1.8 ZVH which has developed a problem of when it hits 5000 rpm it starts to miss in 3rd 4th and 5th gear. I have changed coilpack, plugs, leads, fuel pump and edis so far but still have the same problem. I know its hard to diagnose by keyboard but does anyone have any other ideas???

what boost you running? plug gap?

 

tried that does not matter what boost i run

could be map sensor

 

can i be cheeky and ask you thinking of why it could be that

 

i have the very same problem with my 2.1

 

have you changed fuel filter? checked fuel pressure?

lots of variables for this sort of fault.

How about your battery voltage?
