i'm no guru but from memory the pistons are obvously different, obviously you can turbo it as it is but then u cant run alot of boost, you'll need a turbo exhaust manifold and turbo, and the downpipe is gonna be different on the exhaust, cant remember if they run the same injectors off hand, but the other things you'll need is the turbo ecu.

Then it would all depend what car its goin in?! if the cars a 2i too the map sensor connectors are different so will need changing, not 100% sure if the 2i loom is ok to use other than that or if you'd have to swap it for a fez turbo loom.

If its going into an escort then you ideally need an efi loom or you can splice a fiesta turbo loom into an mfi car too but isnt as neat!!

Best thing to do is get hold of a decent Turbo engine from a fez, drop a T3 on there from an ERST then just use the loom from the FRST. You will need a few other bit of course like I.cooler etc but thats the way i would probably do it. Std boost on a non turbo engine will be ok for a while but you will be wanting more later on!
