Default Sierra Cosworth T3 Turbo Housing (cracking)

Have noticed light cracking near the wastegate and at the front - went to have a look at two others and they are the same but with a little less cracking - must be about 2-3mm long, is this a common fault and will it be ok to run them like this as long as they are not leaking pressure.

Can post pics if needed

cheers

ben

Perfectly OK, perfectly normal as well, what tends to happen also is the pivot pin with the actuator arm and the penny washer on it wears badly, so the washer doesn't seal properly, some can be repaired if not too bad, but most have a crack, if boost ok then don't worry.
