Exclamation this may sound dum

ive got a R reg escort 1.3 i know its a poo size but its cheeper on insurance due to points n a crash.
I just wanted to know if you can put power steering on a non power steering car, and how easy or hard is it, ive never heard of some one doing this thats the reason for the post

Well, anything can be done with the correct knowledge, tools and parts. Whether this can be done as a 'bolt on' option, I dont know.......

With it being a ford there will be no doubt a mix and match of parts you could use to do this.

u can use most of the stuff off a normal mk6,only thing u gotta sort is the pump placement!on 1.3 it might use all the power to turn the wheels!
