hi tabbetha your information is very much appreciated and a good help but if you could send me what terminals to use would be great coz when it comes to electrics i am a night mere. as for the bike coils i asume they must cme of a v4 yes or no...combiman?

 

I am sure there is a ACCEL coil that replaces the one you have as a direct fit, keeping the same leads + connections.
pm me some nice piccies, the coil I was looking at was fitted between 1981-1982 in usa.
