Xr2 Fuel set up.

im putting twin 40s on my xr2 do i need to change the fuel pump or will the original mechanical 1 cope?

i would put a facet interrupter pump on with a fuel pressure reg hav a look on the demon tweeks web site you can get the fuel pump blanking plates aswell

As said defo uprate fuel pump, you could also use a filter/regulator combined, the pressure is very low on carbs, so make sure the reg goes low enough to suit carbs.
