on the throttle linkage where the throttle cable joins the butterfly can you get an uprated spring for them? as mine has gone a little slack and is not shutting the buttlerfly fully so is holding the revs on.???

probaly fined that is down to the cable imo try replacing the cable then spraying the lincage in spray grease and work it in by working the throttle (engine off of corse lol)

I would try cleaning the throttle body out first, they can get very dirty and gummed up.It may look clean on the butterfly but on the side you cant see will probably be manky.I have had this before and it wouldn't always shut the throttle off completely. It was more noticeable going down a hill with no throttle and it would pop from the exhaust,it was still chucking fuel in or drawing air.
