So my bottom end has gone after havin the car 2 weeks...

Any one know what parts i will need to get hold of to fix it?

You need to find out what had gone first.
If it is you shells, And you crank has not been damaged they will just need replacing.

Just seen a website that does complete 2.0 ZVH Bottoms for Ł620... that a good price?

 

I have never bought one, I always build my own.
Depends on the spec tbh. For that price i would expect forged low comp pistons and some apr bolts.

Really? I thought that stuff was very expensive?

I'll see how it goes on monday. i'll just ask them to whip the sump off and have a look at the damage, then work out what the next step is from there. They are only an MOT & Service centre so prob best to go elsewhere for the work to be done.

You can build a 2.1zvh for abt Ł300 With forged pistons if you do the work you self, thats inc getting a workshop to bore it out and mod the conrods.

 

I like the sound of that!

 

ian howell mate at area six / fiesta frenzy motorsport , was the person who invented the zvh conversion so what he dont know aint worth knowing about zvh and zetec turbos. can do every spec possiable ie pistons , rods , big valve heads , cranks etc basically everything you will ever need for your conversion, a big plus hes a very helpful guy and reasonable priced. hope this helps mate
