hey iv got a 97 fiesta 1300 ... the endura e ... anyway theres 200k on it now and im puttin in more oil in than petrol ... i want to put a 1.6 zetec-se in it out of a focus (1.6 fiestas are rare in ireland) i know it will fit if i use a 1.25 fiesta box, engine mounts and driveshafts, and the gear ratios are the same, and that the existing management will work, but the diff ratio for a 1.25 box is 4.06:1 and for a 1.6 it is 3.82:1 .... so what i want to knowis will i get away with this or will it be revving its cock off on the motorway .... it gets driven hard down back roads a lot but also a fair bit on the motorway so i need it to be a compromise between economy at cruising of about 70 and still be good enough to thrash down a back road too .... any ideas people ??? and any advice on cheap brake upgrades ?? im thinkin mondeo but dont know if the callipers will fit my struts ??? Please Help !!!!!!!!!!!!
