Just fitted a pectal loom to my cossie and know it wont go!
Theres a plug with 3 wires in it whivh is labeled BOOST POT.
is this for ajustable boost? if so i cant use cos my ecu cant do that.the 3 wires go to terminels 30, 26 and 11 in the ecu. do ineed to join any of these togother?
the engine has no spark but the fuel pump comes in when cranking it over
Any one Have any ideas?

 

30+11 go to the tps the other should go to 17 not 26, acording to my diag 26 is unused

 

i have pluged in the tps the wires i have left over r near the ecu multie plug?

 

have you changed or adjust anything apart from the wiring?

Stupid as it sounds have you double checked all connections & earths?

 

yep about 10 times it all looks so easy theres not much to it. i can hear the idle valve come on and the amel valve .

 

just trying to thing what no spark could be, check the gaps on CPS and Phase sensor, also check coil and ign amp wiring

 

you dont have an immobilizer that was in the old loom do ya? the normally break into the too black wires in the loom, ign amplifier and coolant sensor!

 

The new loom is totaly separate there is no imodiliser conected to it> its a bran dnew pectal loom!

 

I also have a Pectel loom with boost pot on it but have not fitted it yet, has your loom got 2 Ing amps on it ?? what crank sesor are you useing ?

 

its only got 1 plug for ign amp. im using standard crank sensor but on the wire that goes to it it says weber crank! and the wire that i have pluged on to dizzy says cam on it

I ASSUME U ARE USING WEBER MARELLI, 30,26 IS BLANK, SHOULD BE EITHER
17, OR 15, 11 IS EARTH, PIN 30 IS USED TWICE ON WIRING DIAGRAM, FOR THROTTLE SWITCH, AND MAP SENSOR, ALSO 11, FOR BOTH SENSORS, 17 IS THROTTLE SWITCH, AND 15 IF MAP SENSOR, SO 11, 30, 15, MAP SENSOR.
11, 17, 30, TPS, AND ALSO NORMALLY A LEAD ATTACHED FOR MAP SENSOR EARTH, AND THE SAME TYPE LEAD FOR ECU, WHAT ECU ARE U USING AND ARE U USING 4/4 SETUP AND SENSORS,

HI yep i am using 4b4 set up with l8 ecu

 

anybody know what pin 10,14,13 and 12 are because on the connoctor face on the loom i have these wires aswell

10 IS FOR power relay 85 at base of relay yellow,14 for octain adjustment,
12, for error code,13 for octain adjustment 2, power relay most inportant of these wires,
