Yeah.. some edis modules (the plugs actually) dont have the pin for the tacho output though, but thats not too hard to fix.

 

yep will work its just the plugs that change just make sure it for a 4 pot not a 6 potter ok

 

Thanks for the help, but how do you get round the pin for the tacho? Can you take it straight off a pin from the ecu? Will the zetec edis unit plug into a correctly modified xr3i efi escort loom?

 

the xr3i loom as got it in already use the 3i clocks to make use it reads right what are you tring to do m8

 

Basically i'm changing to efi from mfi on my escort rs turbo. I got hold of a mint xr3i (cvh) engine loom cheap but am having trouble finding a fiesta turbo edis module. Then someone on flea bay selling a zetec xr3i edis module said that it would work fine on my modified (to run ofab) cvh loom. As you can tell from this thread i don't 100% believe this ebay rapist.

 

ive got a ofab one you can have m8 ive got the full ofab set up im just changing from ofab in an escort rst to jam-sport stuff goteck mfi pro

 

I need the edis unit, map sensor, and ecu. How much could you let that go for? i might have the loom aswell if its cheap.

 

what bit of the loom do you need m8 is just the ecu part or all of it cos im going to be taking the ecu part out of the main loom cos im go to need the rest to run the lights etc .. ai have got a frst ofab loom ,map sensor ,suppersor ,co pot ,edis and ecu plus ecu holder all in 100 inc p+p if you want
