My next door neighbour has an escrot 1.6 16v,it runs fine but has a dodgy idle every so often,reving up rather than dieing out.
Ive cleaned the throttle body and idle control valve but it stays the same,is there anything else thats a common prob?

the idle valves do fail on them , about 60 quid for a new one,
