Hi Guys,

got an issue with a new head unit and wondered if anyone had any ideas?

I'v recently replaced my old sony head unit with a dvd playing head unit however have run into a couple of issues on the installation , it seems that the head unit has got power as the LED displays lights up however will not turn on , I have checked the caballing that was supplied with the head unit and all seems to be ok however the head unit still wont turn on , also the head unit has power when the engine is off so I suppose it could be wiring?

I have changed over two fuses behind the glove box as it seems someone was having a similar problem however this hasn’t worked.

has anyone got any ideas , could this be a wiring issue or a faulty head unit??? iv attached a couple of pics to my website if this helps, unfortunately I have a fairly limited knowledge of car electronics

hi guys,

just looking through the ebuyer site where I purchased the head unit and it looks like there may be an issue with the iso's cabaling , I will check the wiring diagram and the haynes manual and get back to you.
