Get the RS engine my friend, you need the oil return, lower compression etc etc...

Oh ye sure if you are using the FRST engine and you get the ECU and loom as well it will work. Pretty sure all ERST have LSD, not sure about Fiesta imagine they would have.
What I was asking was if your current CVH is carb or not?
Kind regards,
Martin.

erst's have lsd but its crap i think tbh, im just going with a 3i box till funds allow a focus rs box. id go with a well documented rebuilt engine from a frst and ofab frst management. if your car is a esc and efi already get the pins altered in the loom to work.

don't no much about the box's mate but being a carb you will need the hole engine loom back to the fuse board, i'm doing the same to mine once fund's allow, but i'm sticking a frst into my esco, so think some gigery pokery will be in order, but frst run on efi and is alot better than the mfi on erst, so would leave as is and this ofab ecu milarky haven't heard much about it but it's supposed to be the one if you want a frst.
