ive got hold of a p-reg mondeo which has a great engine but it has pats and i want to drop it into my 1998 escort gti
can i use a non pats ECU on it if i swap for a non pats loom and ECU?

if not can i swap the whole lot and use the 2.0 with the pats ECU loom and swap the chips in the key or swap the lock barrel?

if all of the above is wrong is there a way to disable the pats
or another way of doing it?

You will need a Mk1 mondeo 2.0 ECU with the code DEEP, DESK or DEWY. Im sure you need to swap some terminals round on the multiplug too, theres a guide on what to change round somewhere, i'll have a search for it as i cant remember off hand where i've seen it.
