Default Wishbones again.

Hi everyone,
I realise that Escort wishbones are a very common topic and most people are probably bored of them, but I've gotta ask, sorry.
My '98 van's are shot and need replacing and so I rang my local Ford garage today and was quoted £106 per side. Is this right? I was expecting maybe £50 each but over 200 quid to supply only, it seems crazy.
I appreciate that the van may need tougher ones than a car, but I don't carrry anything heavy in mine so could I get away with standard ones?
If so, any rcommendations?
Cheers.

the ford ones last, the factor ones don't because they are a 1/4 of the price

at least that's what i've found with the mondeo

still cheaper to replace them every few years and not be skint

The car ones don't last long at all, even the genuine Ford ones.
