Camshaft replacement
Should you replace cam followers when fitting brand new camshafts?
I'm about to fit a new inlet and exhaust cam to my cossie, I replaced the cam followers about 5K miles ago do I need to change them again when fitting the new cams?

check them for any wear if none then they will go again m8!
Thanks for the replys, will check top surface of followers once the cams are out. I did start the car yesterday and some of the followers where noisey but the car had been stood for nearly 6 weeks.
Was looking on e-bay last night and Graham Goode are selling a full set of INA cam followers for £74.98 + postage which seemed quite good. May just get a set of these and fit them while i'm doing the cams. Would rather spend the money now and get the job right than have to take it all apart again to change them later.

I would not change them if only 5K old myself, but understand what your resasoning is.
Matt Lewis also sell these as well as loads of other cossie stuff at very good prices, and ace service too, 01922 692424.
