mk2 Orion Turbo pulling problems
Hi there i converted my 1989 mk2 orion to efi rs turbo last year, and ever since doing so the handeling has been rubbish. i think its due to the extra power / torque but not sure. when on boost the car pulls quite hard to the right so need to steer to left to keep it on a straigh line. also when changing gear it then pulls to the lft when the throttle is lifted. was told rear bushes were worn, would this cause this? I replaced all bushes at front end, although i have also noticed that the steering wheel is slightly tilted to the left when going in a straight line but it has always been like this since i bought the car. i think this is because the track rod ends need adjusted. Any help much appreciated.
pics?
could you fit a s2 box and diff!?
might help with the torque sterr!?
but i would replace the bushes aswell and maybe uprated dampers and springs!?

yes it has a rebuilt series 2 lsd box and gmax lowering springs and dampers as a set, so dont think its a torque steer problem its too severe for that., can worn back bushes cause pulling problems if worn, even though there is no knocking noises
yes they can cause it i had this problem on my old car so i polybushed everything front an back also measure the distences between wheel and your rear arch near the door if this is different that is the cause of the problem i mean a few mm will do nothing but if like 10mm or over and then you hae a problem
hi yes i put in brand new engine mount and gearbox mounts at time of building but these dont need any setting up do they? all seems to be sitting nice and staright and tight in the engine bay.
