Ive just done one mate, the most u can safely lower the rear is 2" unless you put the springs under the axle but that is dangerous

Took rear leaf springs off, sent them to Owen springs in Teesside who re-profiled them, there is a way to lower them 6" but i am still working on it and i need a spare set of connect leaf springs to see if it works.
The fronts are just focus set up

i would not recommend doing that as all the axle weight will be hanging off 4 u bolts if they let go you are dead

What about all the 4wd's (Series Land Rovers, Suzuki Sj's etc) and all RWD Escorts, Capri's, Mk1/2 Cortina's, Anglia's that run spring under axle. They don't fall off the road and kill people.

I think an axle flip locating the spring under the axle as a posed to over will be safe. If in any doubt use stronger tempered u bolts and nuts.

I take it no-ones really sussed this yet ?? I need mine decking too but heard about the focus set up but not sure which front springs to go for ! Im sure theres a guy in sheffield that can de-camber the rears by whatever drop you want but for the life of me i cant remember who . He gave me a quote on here for doing my ezcort van a couple of years ago but i just cut the spring mounts off my axle and ran the spring under it ! This time though i want to do it the proper way .

Anyone ???
