there is only one seal for the crank at the front which is pressed into the front cover.there is a sump seal also on the cover and a gasket which also takes in the aux shaft cover.
what you need to do is remove the front crank pully and pry out the old seal which is tricky enough, taking care not to damage the aluminium cover.and then tap in a new seal, taking care no to damage the inner knife edge of the seal when pushing it up on to the crank journal,

cheers,is it easier to remove the cover at the same time or does that involve more probs? just thought it would be easier to get the seal out then

it would be easier to remove the seal if the cover was off but it may cause a few problems when trying to make sure it seals up properly when reinstalling,as you also have to remove some fwd sump bolts aswell,
the only difficulty is removing to old seal.and once its out its very easy to install the new one,and with less work involved than putting on the front cover.
i would try this way first and if all else fails you can always go the other way
