OFAB MAP Sensor-2.5/3bar
Hi peeps, just slapped a meter on my OFAB ECU diagnostics plug and it's come back with error 72, looked up means MAP sensor/wiring. Car drives fine on boost but -ve pressure (as in most of the time lol) and it's major kangeroo time!
Looking about I can't find any replacement Weber FRST MAP sensors. However 3 bar Cosworth items are easy to obtain.
So my question is can I use the 3bar sensor as a direct replacement?
ie is it's output electrically the same for the 1st 2.5bar?
Anyone know for definite?
Thanks for your time ppl!

you can use a 3bar but need to modd part of the loom, there is a 2pin plug with a black block on the end of it you just need to chop it off and join the wires but if you are after a 2.5 one i have a used one for sale pm me if intrested

The FRST and 3 bar Cosworth map sensor have different outputs for the same pressure, you cannot use the Cosworth one without remapping the ecu/chip.
