brake warning lights on intermittent
hi all,on my 4x4 saph cossie a while back changed rear springs and had brake pipes disconnected, bled as per manual, and both amber and red warning light came on now and again, took some fluid out and seemed fixed, had front end jacked up doing front prob when of the jacks lights start coming on again intermittantly,re-bled as manual and still no better, today with out abs pump priming itself i took more fluid out so was on max, primed abs and level went to above min, gave time for lights to go out, then when i press and hold brake pedal eventually both lights come on again!when driving it might only do it a couple times in a journey but usually more, but starting to do my head in!!oh sensor in cap does seem to work like a switch as checked it was working unless its intermitant!cant see any visable leaks, half convinced level has gone up but unsure as when did level pump had been primed, any help much appreciated col93saphcos

The amber and red lights reffered to are the std warning lights for the abs braking system fitted to sapph cossies etc.
Red comes on meaning either handbrake on/low hydraulic pressure or low brake fluid level.
The amber light in the centre above the other warning lights, indicates either partial or fully disabled abs, you will still have normal braking but need more effort and of course no abs.
Where are you keeping your fluid level, as I know on mine I have to keep it around 1" ABOVE the max mark otherwise it flashes on corners low fluid level, but never abs, you may just have a grotty connection, I would start by looking at the wheel sensors RINGS to make sure one is not chipped full of rust etc as this will show as a fault.

i had it on max after bleeding,so would be above max before being pressurized,i have been taking fluid out thinking it was maybe to much fluid,is your level about an inch above max after it being pressurized?if so im maybe low on fluid, but got lights coming on occasionally when cornering and accelarating, thanks alot col93saphcos
