MT75 4x4 Transfer box chain
I have a chain from a used gearbox and am trying to determine how worn it is, and if it is still serviceable
Found this thread:-

It suggests that you lay the chain on a flat surface, and measure the distance between the part of the chain on the bench and the top of the chain as it droops down in the middle.

Does anyone have this measurement for a new chain?
I lined up the guide plates so they were immediately above and below each other and took a measurement between the centres of the two plates.
It came out at 6.5mm.
How does this compare?
Bin fodder or not?
