gearbox issue

i need a strong box to go on my 96 1800 zetec escort i had an ib5 with a 6paddle clutch and quick shift but thats now in pieces what are my options? ive heard the mtx 75 is a tougher box but will it fit?

i always thought the mtx gearboxes were fitted to the zetec engine. You could always try am ST170 gearbox. The mtx boxes are strong.

ive looked it up most came with an ib5 it was xr3i's 130ps and rs2000's that the came with the mtx
as its the same engine will the mtx be a direct fit to my car?
