ive got a fiesta rs turbo just had a new garret t3 fitted, with 31actuator problem is it wont boost past 5psi and is capable of 20 can any1 tell me how you adjust it??

 

how you doin you need to shorten the actuator rod by screwin in the arm, you need a bigger intercooler to run 20 psi as yours is standard, i would set it around 12 to 14 for now

 

hi mate have you had it chipped

 

shorter the actuator rod = more boost

1 turn equates to approx 1 psi; make sure you have the right injectors for the hike in boost; 5 - 20 psi is a big leap

i didnt want to put it straight to 20 just at about 12 and yes its chipped i tried to shorten the rod but its really difficult to many things in the way and ive got big gorrilla paws haha ill try again tomorow wen its all cold
