efi vs mfi
hi i was wondering,
i currently have a efi fiesta engine, whats the differance between this and an mfi 1????
i need a new bottom end what i need to know is can i use an escort turbo bottom end or is it different???
i know the s1 need the cps modifyed but im pritty sure its just a case of connecting a s2 bottom end up???? is his the case?
on a further note if i can get a whole engine will what differances do the heads have?
will a mfi head be able to bolt up to a efi unit?????

I have undertaken this conversion and there are no differences from my knowledge to the bottom end other than the cps hole.
The cylinder heads are different tho as the efi inlet has different mounting studs to the mfi.
I went from an MFi engine to efi and changed the cylinder head and inlet etc. The escort (T3) exhaust manifold bolts straight on tho.
