l8 ecu stage 4 with baby board
i have been offered one of these but to be honest not shaw what it does could somebody explain it for me and what the advantages over a standard ecu are!!!????!!!!

I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!
An L8 always has a baby board connected. It's used as an extension to the mainboard and contains a Ram chip and the Eprom. The Eprom is there because the baby board is connected to the Eprom-socket on the mainboard.
However, tuners use different hardware for this baby board in order to protect the contents of the Eprom. Without special hardware and/or software you cannot see the maps, they are all scrambled.
