Default DVLA INSPECTION OF NEW ENGINES and company in carlise IMPORTANT

Hi guys, ive been doing alot of thinking as to wheather i should change my escort 1.8td van engine for a full rs2000 setup. if i het this done has anyone got any idea as to how and what the dvla need to do to say its fine, as i'd want to register it all as ligit and insure it for what it is. any ideas?
also:-

a company in carlise called JD MOTORSPORT actually fit these into standard vans, cars ect for what i think is a good price with the kit and fitting it'll cost me about £850 and thats everything, Loom, engine, ecu, gearbox, gear linkage, subframe, drive shafts and hubs. Just wondering if anyone has heard of them and what are they like?

DVLA just do random inspections, if they imspected every engine change they'd be swamped....
All you need to do is send your V5 off with new engine number on and if you're unlucky you'll have to go and have it inspected, theres no way out of it unfortunately.

Never heard of the garage but that seems a very good price.
I have not had a engine change inspected yet, in 25 years, done at least 15 between myself/dad and friends, even with different make engines into different cars.
