Default Clutch slipping on boost...

Ok, this is my first post here, so be gentle with me (and I did do a search on the subject but found conflicting views from adjusting the pedal to replacing the clutch...)

Right, first the problem...

My newly purchased Fiesta RS Turbo clutch pedal is very high, even after altering the self adjusting ratchet the bite point is almost at the top of the travel. I have tried moving the clutch arm by one pline as advised by my local grease-monkey but it had no effect (one spline makes the cable almost slack). Have looked at the possibility of performing the AP clutch mod to adjust the height (and therefore the bite point) of the pedal...

Possibly related is that when I accelerate to the point the boost comes in (approx 2000 - 3000 rpm) the clutch starts slipping until I back off and press the accelerator again. Not too worrying on a motorway, but embarasing in an urban environment...

Anyhow, here is the spec of the car. I hope this helps in your diagnosis...

STAGE 2 ENGINE
195 SUPERCHIP
BEIGE UPRATED 701's INJECTORS
T3 UPRATED TURBO
FSE POWER BOOST VALVE
FMI PRO ALLOY
LSD
MOUND PRO ALLOY INTERCOOLER
AP 4 PADDLE CLUTCH (NEW AP 4 PADDLE CLUTCH KIT costing £280 1 year back done less than 6k miles)
-31 actuator running 12psi
Cossie front brakes

Readouts given with the purchase indicate a power of around 180 / 190 BHP

The guy from whom I purchased the fezza said that the clutch slipped when the boost comes in because of oil on the clutch plate due to a sump gasket that has started to leak...

So, any ideas? Go for an organic clutch (and if so, just the friction plate or the whole lot?) ?? Pedal mod? any other possibilities?

Take off the gearbox and have a look, The clutch will need to be replaced. If its contaminated with oil then it stands a chance thats its the main crank seal thats leaking, Common problem with fords. My mate had an organic clutch in his 180hp escort and it did'nt last 3 months. So i would stick with a paddle clutch
