Default cosworth engine

im not that good on cars so i thought i would find out before doing it can i put a escort cossie engine into a mk4 escort and change it into a rear wheel drive and would it be difficult

if your 'not that good on cars' then i reckon it's gonna be very difficult and/or very expensive for you to acheive. be easier just to buy a saffy or a 3 door with the engine already in, you would probably save thousands too!

i dont know alot about cars but my dad does and he just wanted to know if it ould fit and how long it would take but would it be hard to convert front wheel drive into rear wheel drive

There's easier jobs to start with m8.

It is possible, and i have seen it done, but the work that has to go into is massive. Although a mate of a mate, took a bet on that he could put a Twin Turbo V8 into a mk3 escort, and make it 4wd, and he did that in his shed, tho he was a bit of a genius in the engineering depo. lmao
