to make it fit the car u gotta make some more holes,u can fit some bolts in to use as a guide, but u gotta make sure u stick some tube in,so wen u do the bolts up it doesnt crush the chassis

S1's dont come with adjustable tca's though. Just a caster adjustable arb. Gus worth doing though as i'm doing it at the moment but if you want camber adjustability you'll need MEF tca's. You need to drill extra holes, have a gear box with the front mount holes such as a mk3/5 and the rear gear box mount. Rs1600i arb set ups are better though if you can find one

hmmm think ill leave it be then in that case as the anti roll bar is spaced slightly downwards anyway to make fit for the gearbox cradle which is spaced down to match the lowered engine position as the rs2k lump was a bit too tall for the mk4 bay where the original mouting position was. so i think i.l be leaving that be then!
am interested in these MEF tca's though will have a search for them on the net. cheers foryour help guys

Someone used to make a S1 TCA setup for a S2 that used the original gearbox cradle. It might have been Janspeed but I'm not entirely sure.

They crop up on Ebay from time to time. There was one on there a few months back IIRC.

The MK4 Cradle WILL NOT fit with the MK3 arb set up. I've tried. The MK4 specific ones were made by turbo technics but are ultra rare it seems.

Yes - it was definitely Turbo Technics and not Janspeed duh. When they do come up they seem to command quite a high price. I'm surprised someone hasn't copied them as they aren't that complicated.
