Default Problems with heater, Ford Fiesta 2002 1.3 Finesse

Hi

I'm new to the forum.

Just looking for some advice.

The blower/fan for the hot/cold air has stopped working in my Fiesta, actuall so has the cigarette lighter. It's a 2002, 1.3 Finesse.

I've checked the fuses and they seem to be fine

Any ideas???

Thanks

You can pop off the ciggy lighter mate by lifting up the panel it's on, it just pops up

check to see if the wire is connected underneath

heaters is a strange one as mine had never gone wrong...

You sure the fuse is ok? if it's just a blade fuse behind the glovebox might be worth while replacing it if it's only 20p for a new one

hello mate the heating problem is a common fault as ive done loads of them at work! if u look under the boonet near the wiper motor there is a valve in 1 of the heater pipes going in to the heater matrix with a plug on ( two wires ) that valve will hav stopt workin but its a easy job to do and only 20 summit quid from ford plus vat! hope this helps!

Didn't think the MK6 had that troublesome valve anymore, just the Ka, Fiesta '96-'02 and Puma?
