Default Rev counter....

Anyone running gotech and using the rpm output to run their rev-counter?
Ive got an after market rev-counter and also the gotech signal amp and still no joy!!

we dont usually have any problems with them. you could always try taking a feed off one of the coil trigger wires directly to the back of the clocks.

yeah tried that and got half revs, as its a wasted spark sytem....
Does the gotech rpm output, be switched on/off??

hi there i had this trouble when i had my gotech mfi pro fitted i could not get it to work so jam sport sent me the signal amp i wired it up like it said and it worked but it worked better when the car was moving but i did have to try two different clocks and wired mine to a permant live

What car/clocks did u use???
So u fed a constant +ve to the rev counter and amp, instead of a ignition +ve??
