Default advice on buying an intercooler. pls help

i want to order my new intercooler tonight for my escort cossie, but just cant decide which make to go for and what size 50mm or 60mm core and the size of the inlet pipe 60mm or the 76mm size.

my cars spec is tt38, 4x4 manifold ported head, seimens 65lb so i want one to make the most of this spec, that could go up 460bhp max

any help would be appreciated , cheers

Golden rule here is the bigger the better generally, just measure the pipe size.
I just fitted airtec rad 60mm and intercooler 70mm, and the rr showed it is excellent at doing it's job, well impressed with them.

Depends how much power you are going for, but 60 will flow a hell of a lot.
