Default locking and rattling problem

please move if its in wrong place, still finding my feet abit so to say! just wondered if ne1 could help me with a few problems ive got on my rwd saff cos? the car locks and unlocks and wont stop doin it till the door shuts and its locked even if your sat in it,ive got a new lock actuator for it hoping its that? theres a loud vibrating/rattling niose on overun, doesnt do it when accerarating or coasting in neutral so put this down to the diff? just does it when you let off in gear, also the fuel gauge reads full when you turn the engine off even tho the tank isnt, after a few hours it will settle back to wheres it meant to be,never done it before but wont stop doin it now,ne1 know the cause of this? sorry for massive post but figuerd this the best place to ask these questions! sorry bout the spelling aswell!thanks in advance if ne1 can help

Locking problem is likely to be stiff rods on door locks(fronts) that are not working fully in the brief time they are energised.
Noise is unlikely to be diff, look for a exhaust rattling on the gearbox mount or front roll bar.
So long as the gauge is accurate when you are driving I would not worry.

Mnne oinly rattle don deceleration as the engine gets twisted the opposite way to acceleration.
Check arb bushes.
