series 2 rs turbo starts fine when cold but if i let it get hot turn it of it wont start again till it cools anyone help

 

Starter motor, wiring from battery to starter, or battery. I changed all 3 last year, turned out to be the battery. Got a starter motor from a 1.4 cvh (smaller) and put heat wrap round it, the down pipe is wrapped. A year on and its happend again hoping its the shit Halfrauds battery again.

 

It sounds like the same problem i had on mine aswell, if you get a hi toque starter motor the are a little smaller then the standed ford one, then wrap the downpipe, and get the heat refeltive wrap, wrap the starter motor aswell ul be fine with that, iv had no trouble with mine since i did it.
