Default Help. blue smoke!

I have an S2 that has just recently started blowing blue smoke.

There is a big cloud on a cold start up. and then once the car has warmed up it happily puffs away on tick over!
however, the stem seals were replaced less than 1000 miles ago along with a new oil pump, and a compression test revealed no issues with rings.?

anyone have any ideas?

Oil's getting into the cylinders one way or another, and if it's not getting into the cylinders, it's getting into the exhaust, and the only other way it can do that is from the turbo...
