Default 2.1zvh question

my frst is finally ready to run in, (mot welding pending)
its a 2.1zvh stage2 t3, extensive head work, boost valve, ally rad, cooler, etc...(
standard injectors tho)
running on ofac, from what i imagine hasnt been chipped.

i know the management isnt ideal but will it work, maybe up to 10 psi??
the boost is very low at the moment obiously, but the engine seems to idle and run fine, (ready to run in?) hasnt had a set up as yet.

any info would be appreciated as im not too sure at this stage as
to weather its a recepie for disaster or itll be ok to run in,

main issue is to get it run in for as little expense as poss to make sure the engine is all
ok.i was thinking that it could get set up by a tuner at 6psi as it is. am i wrong?

is it even possible to get set up properly as it is?

thanks

Standard ecu+injectors will lead to a lean condition due to the increase in displacement.. you're best to get it to a tuner to get it mapped, preferably with the injectors it'll end up having.. OFAC will happily do 1 bar boost (properly) or above that with a bit of hackery. I think MSD is probably the closest person to you for this kind of work.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH, I HAVE NEEDED THEESE ANSWERS FOR A VERY LONG TIME
NOW.

so maybe safe to get it on rollers and get it set up for 6psi, run it in.

then once runin ok i could think about getting better injectors and management.
as im not totally sure on the best thing to do with the management, any suggestions?

thanks again

oh, would it be possible to just chip it, and get diferent injecters and
keep original ofac ecu, (which injecters would i use?) and see a decent
amount of boost.

cheers

well that was the idea for the car at the start of the project
butmy mate was sorting all that out as im not a clue with
stuff like that, i have a wide band lamda sensor which i baught
and put to one side as i dont see that mate any more. so for me it might
be best if i take the car somewhere for the pros to deal with, especially
when it comes to management.

cheers
