frst not boostin

frst not boostin
hi i have frst and sometimes wen driving it hard it wont boost.i bought the car a few months back and it came with superchip, when i put the chip in it will boost again, could it b that the car is set up to run the super chip all the time?
any help would be appreciated

If a car has a superchip then its ment to run it all the time not now and again when you feel like it.
Mate what spec is your car and what chip is it I'e.
What injectors.
Intercooler
ETC.
EDIT. just read again , YES if your car has a chip and it runs ok with it plugged in THEN leave it in and never unplug it and drive it again or you may kill your engine

what damage may be caused by not using the chip?
is the engine set up for the chip then and also how would i put a switch on it?
its a j plate standard intercooler at mo and think injectors are standard too

mine was running then went slugish thn ok then shite again fitted this switch and it runs sound now, its a hamend chip 155 to 195 bhp chip on s1 management.

Kieran if you car runs crap with the chip out, then runs normal with the chip in then you dont have a problam , Leave the chip in and drive it.

i dont no ive got all the seriel numbers tha was on it, because mine is rst engine made up of both s1 & s2 in an estate (combi) can i find out wot it is from these numbers.
