boost probs again
so ive narrowed it down on the old rs
right the actuator is fine however i wd40ed the arm which the actuator sits on and it woked ok again for like 2 minutes.im guessing the wd40 evapourated is theyre anything i can use that wont melt.

I take it this aint you 1st post about this problam.
I havnt read the other so whas the car doing or whats it not doing.
when you say the rod off the actuator do you mean the wastegate valve (think thats right).
If you soaked in wd40 and car was fine for 2 mins , have you taken the the actuator rod off and tried moving the valve by hand is it stiff.
If it is then I'd either keep soaking with wd40 and keep moving it to free it up or take the exhaust housing off and have a look.
