What do I need to fit a GT28 turbo on my 3dr Cosworth? What kind of exhaust manifold, downpipe, ex. housing, waste gate, hoses... ? Would I need to remap the ECU?

 

You need to remap whenever you change the turbo.. (on a speed density system).

 

GT28s are internal gate unless you get an odd one intended for some kind of OE application, so no need for a seperate wastegate.

They T2 flange normally, but some companies will supply T3 flanged ones, meaning you can use std manifold.

modded standard downpipe due to the 5 bolt turbine flange, its more like an RST one. best bet is prob buy one for a 200SX or similar, then cut the end bit off and weld to the cossie downpipe.

your normal hoses should be fine.

and deffo a remap.
